Vue.js brings together the best features of the JavaScript framework landscape elegantly. If you’re interested in writing maintainable, clean code in an exciting and expressive manner, you should consider joining this 2-day workshop. We’ll explore how to solve many common Front End problems with Vue, from the simplest use cases to the very advanced. Vue is uniquely friendly to all levels of web developers. Whether you’re curious why people keep talking about Vue, or are interested in supercharging your workflow building out complex web applications with fewer bugs and more maintainable code, this workshop is for you. Come join two Vue core team members and maintainers of the docs, Sarah Drasner and Chris Fritz, and learn the basics of the Vue and get started harnessing the power of this framework to create complex applications and dynamic interfaces with ease.

Sarah Drasner is a Vue core team member and lead for the Vue cookbook. She's written dozens of articles on Vue on CSS-Tricks and Smashing Magazine as well as open source Vue and Nuxt projects on Github.\n\nChris is on the Vue core and is the lead curator of their acclaimed documentation. Trained as an educator, he focuses on breaking down difficult concepts for groups from diverse skill levels and backgrounds.

About the instructors

Sarah Drasner is an award-winning Speaker, Senior Developer Advocate at Microsoft, and Staff Writer at CSS-Tricks. Sarah is also the co-founder of Web Animation Workshops, with Val Head. She’s the author of SVG Animations from O’Reilly and has given Frontend Masters workshops on Vue.js and Advanced SVG Animations. Sarah is formerly Manager of UX Design & Engineering at Trulia (Zillow).

Chris Fritz lives in Lansing, Michigan, working on open source and helping companies around the world build incredible web front-ends. He’s most well known for his work as a member of the Vue core team, writing and curating Vue’s documentation, along with other resources to make life simpler for web developers.
